Watching over your own grammar usage can be an easy thing from some, but might be a hard thing for others. Thankfully though I have found two excellent resources for you to check your own web page’s content, e-mail reply or blog post before you make it public to the world.
After the Deadline, created by Automattic, is a great web site and series of plugins (for both Firefox and WordPress) to make sure your grammar is top notch. For quick grammar checking, I would suggest polishmywriting.com, the place they have put up to demonstrate how After the Deadline can save you from your writing misfortunes.
The simply named Spellchecker from Spellchecker.net is a great resource to depend upon too. It works in the same way After the Deadline does (just copy your text and paste it into the box) to have your own personal English teacher grade your writing skills. You can quickly edit with their suggestions and advice, then copy back the text into your document.
I hope these two tools come in handy when you are checking your own grammar and spelling usage on the Web.

Cheat sheets are becoming a popular way of storing a lot of little tips and tricks all at one central location. Now in all honesty, none of us are really “cheating” by making use of these tools. We are just giving our brains a little help when we don’t remember the exact code or steps on how to do things. When it comes to web development, there are a lot of different cheat sheets available to use.

I recently had a Lunartics reader e-mail me in search of a few good Joomla theme resources. Looking around the Web, I started to search out some of the best Joomla theme resources out there, and here are the ones I found.

Also be sure to check out our Joomla support page via the web hosting wiki. Tons of more great information about Joomla there for you to use there, and tons more being added all the time.
Joomla is by far one of the easiest to use CMS (content management system) scripts out there, and there are tons of ways to make it your own by simply adding a new skin.

Can’t turn down a deal that is free, right? One of my new favorite places to go for icons is IconsPedia. They are one of the best sources around for free icons.
Now are the icons really free? Yes they are! You just need to make sure you stick the rules in that each specific icon pack’s read me file or license agreement. In some cases, the artist may ask for credit or a link back at the most. If it isn’t specified, then you can usually contact the author of the icons to see what are the limitations or guidelines on using their work.
You can also submit your own icon creations to the collection.
Overall, this is one great place to bookmark – no matter if you are looking to spice up your own web site design or just give your computer’s desktop a fresh set of new decorations.

Why is it that almost every eBook or “great money making deal” that you see out there is always based around a web page that looks like it was built back in 1995? That is a question that has just plauged my mind forever.
As an act of public service - I am going to now donate my time to these poor saps and find them a few basic design tutorials that they can read and learn from (hopefully).
